Digitize your recruiting with the employees-recruit-employees program from Firstbird. Firstbird has been our partner since 2018 and we ensure a smooth recruiting and application process with our interface and one-click integration.

1. Employee referral program

The market is highly competitive and a great added value during this time can be a referral program. When your own employees tell their friends about the company and recommend it, reward them for it! Make a recommendation exciting and interesting for your employees by rewarding them with exciting prizes & bonuses for successful hires. There are no limits to your creativity here!

2. Firstbird integration

Do you already have a contract with Firstbird? Set up the interface to onlyfy one Application Manager by performing the following steps.

Custom data fields

In the first step, create new custom data fields by going to "Settings" (1) > "Jobs" (2) > "Custom data fields" (3) and clicking on "Add a data field" (4).

Create a total of five custom data fields using the following screenshots.

Custom data field 1:  Publication in Firstbird (in German: Veröffentlichung in Firstbird)

Custom data field 2: Firstbird department (in German Firstbird Fachbereich)

Please make sure that the spelling of the departments must be exactly identical for both Firstbird and Application Manager.

Custom data field 3: Firstbird location (in German: Firstbird Standort)

Please make sure that the spelling of the locations must be exactly identical for both Firstbird and Application Manager.

Custom data field 4: Firstbird bonus (in German: Firstbird Prämie)

Custom questions

Now create the below two custom questions by going to "Settings" (1) > "Applications" (2) > "Custom questions" (3) and clicking on "Create new question" (4).

Please deactivate the visibility for candidates for both questions by clicking on the gear icon and clicking on the slider at the first point "Visible for candidate". The background color of the slider will change from green to gray.

Using the following screenshots, create the two custom questions.

Tags

Next, create a new candidate tag by going to "Settings" (1) > "Applications" (2) > "Candidate tags" (3) and clicking on "Add a tag" (4). Enter "Firstbird" as the tag name (5), select your desired color (6) and save your entries with "Add" (7).

Application source

Now create a new application source. To do this, go to "Settings" (1) > "Applications" (2) > "Application sources" (3) and click on "Add an application source" (4). Enter "Firstbird" as the name of the application source (5) and save your entry (6).

API integration

In the last step, create the access permissions for Firstbird under "Settings" (1) > "Integrations" (2) > "REST API" (3). Click on "Create new API key" (4) and enter "Firstbird" (5) as the title. In the "Reporting Name" field (6), also assign a name that should appear in your reports. Deactivate the following permissions:

• can insert users
• can update users
• can invite users
• can delete users

Save your entries (7) and send the automatically generated API Key via email to your Firstbird contact.
